Summer is most definately over. At first I felt a little apprehensive about the onslaught of rain, and cold weather. I am not a winter person. The key, however, seems to be organisation. I changed round my daughter's toys- more puzzles, crayons and blocks in prominence. Her summer clothes have been stored in the bottom of the big wardrobe, and I'll see what is still salvageable come next Spring. Jams and chutneys have been made, with more to come. I like the winding down. I like September.
